Video: Bagel Street Deli’s Pickle Eating Contest a gastrinomical battle

Bagel Street Deli held its thirteenth annual pickle eating contest on March 9. Sure it was a glutonous competition full of competitors in pain, but it also was an awesome event to see in person.
Bagel Street Deli is owned by Art Ostrike and Lenny and Megan Meyer. “We keep it going because we find personal enjoyment in it,” Lenny Meyer said.
Ostrike said that they plan to continue the contest annually.
First Place went to two time champion Mike Logue who ate over 10 pickles in ten minutes. Second place was a four way tie among Jason Flood, Matt Greenley, Melonie Perry and Paul Mohler. Each ate eight pickles.
