This year Athens Beautification Day took place on April 29, the day after Palmer fest, which made for plenty to participates to beautify. However, picking up beer cans wasn’t the only activity Beautification Day participants engaged in. CG members were sent to Athens Middle School where they picked up glass bottles, planted flowers, spread mulch and did other odd jobs to help the school grounds look its best!
