  • Coffee: Donkey Coffee & Espresso
    • Donkey serves all fair trade and organic coffee, and they also offer locally-sourced milk for specialty drinks. But the real treat is chatting with the baristas – they’re all incredibly knowledgeable about the benefits of supporting local economy and purchasing ethically-sourced coffee.
  • Tea: Brenen’s
    • Conveniently located seconds from campus, Brenen’s has a great coffee selection. This includes their chai tea lattes, which are the creamiest we’ve ever tasted! Sit in and enjoy your tea in a colorful mug, or take a cup to go.
  • Dessert: Fluff Bakery
    • The name says it all: Fluff’s desserts are the perfect amount of fluffy and delicious, and it is a welcome retreat from Court Street’s typical bar-and-restaurant scene.
  • Boutique: Artifacts Gallery
    • Not only are the finds at this locally-owned boutique uncommonly wonderful, the employees are too! They’re always willing to help questioning customers choose between outfits or accessories.
  • Market: Athens Farmers Market
    • Named one of the best farmers markets in the U.S., this brings together a variety of local farmers, bakers and other entrepreneurs to sell their wares. Grab something to snack on, and peruse the stalls – you never know what you might find!
